Malcolm Ross, who originated from Glasgow, established the business in 1834 and the family business is now in its sixth generation. The company has always been in yarns and cloths during its existence. In the past 20 years Malcolm Ross & Sons Ltd has moved into the agency field in technical textiles and more recently merged its packaging subsidiary Profile Packaging Limited into its trading operations. Our offices and warehouse are situated within 20 minutes from M6, M60, M56 motorways and Manchester airport. The company has built up an extensive experience in all fields of technical textiles and which includes supplying to the cable industry with monofilaments, teabag industry, health product industry, animal food industry, fishing industry, off shore industry and food industry with various types of yarns.
